Web Wednesday: Maple Ridge Photo

17 June 2009 620 views One Comment

This is the first in a series of weekly posts that will spotlight local websites pertaining to the Ridge-Meadows area.  Some will be photo sites, some will be the sites of local businesses, and some will be blogs.  If you’d like your site to be showcased, please send an email to the address at the bottom of this post.

If you’re looking for for another perspective on how other residents see the Ridge-Meadows area, then look no further than the Maple Ridge Photo site, maintained by Susan, since November of 2006.

I first became aware of this site while searching for interesting things to photograph in Maple Ridge, and I’ll confess to being very impressed with the work that Susan publishes to the site, such as this shot from October of last year.

And while the site used to be known as the Maple Ridge Daily Photo, it’s been a little less frequent than that over the last while.  Which you could hardly blame someone for.  After all, sometimes real life gets in the way of the things that you’d really like to be doing.  But that doesn’t diminish from the excellent photography that you’re going to find on the site.

Who knows – maybe you’ll discover a spot in Maple Ridge that you never even knew existed.  Someplace you’ll just *have* to see for yourself.

Have a look at the site at http://mrdailyphoto.blogspot.com
