Go Fishing For Father’s Day

20 June 2009 96 views No Comments

If you’re looking for something a little different to do on Father’s Day, why not take Dad fishing?

Courtesy of BC Family Fishing, you can print a complimentary fishing license that’s valid all this weekend in all non-tidal freshwater in BC.

One of the best places in the Maple Ridge area would have to be Mike Lake, in Golden Ears Park.  There’s a fishing dock at the lake and it’s stocked with trout out of a hatchery in Abbotsford.

If it’s something you haven’t done in awhile, why not give fishing a try again?  And what better time than Father’s Day to get back into it?
