Check Out The Haney Farmer’s Market

If you’ve ever been down around Peace Memorial Park anytime between May and October, you’ve probably spent some time visiting the Haney Farmers Market.

From their website:

The Haney Farmers Market is held in Downtown Haney, the heart of Maple Ridge at the Memorial Peace Park. Every Saturday mid May through mid October, farm fresh veggies, baking and crafts are available.

If you’re looking for something that just isn’t the same-old same-old, this is probably going to be the place where you’ll find it, with vendors selling a multitude of different items, everything from locally grown fruits and vegetables to crafts and artwork.  They even have profiles of their vendors posted on their website, along with information on how to become a vendor at the market.

They even host a special Canada Day version of the market, this year on Wednesday, July 1st from 10:00am to 4:00pm.  If you’re going to be down at the park for the Canada Day festivities, why not go down a little early and walk through the market?

If you find yourself downtown on a Saturday anyway, why not take the time to see everything that the Haney Farmers Market has to offer?  We’d be willing to bet that you’ll be quite surprised at what you find.

The market runs mid-May to mid-October, every Saturday from 9:00am to 2:00pm.  You can check out their website, or email them for more information.  Tell them that you heard about the market from the Ridge Meadows Post.
